CAGED

The Nicolas Cage Movie Tracker!!!

NEW! A free Android app for keeping track of every Cage movie you've seen.

Google Play: coming soon!
(Android only for now. Sorry, iPhone people.)

What is it?

Caged is an app that helps you track which Nicolas Cage movies you've watched, which you own, and which you still need to see. Think Letterboxd, but it works on a plane, has no accounts, and is only about one man.

The whole filmography is already in there (over 100 films, from the masterpieces to the ones that are... something). Just tick them off as you go.

What can it do?

  • Watched / Remaining - poster grids with search and sorting, so you always know what's left.
  • Rate and review - half-star ratings, likes, notes and tags for every viewing.
  • Rewatch diary - log a film as many times as you like. Nobody's judging because no one can see shit!
  • Ownership - mark what you own on VHS, DVD, Blu-ray, 4K or digital.
  • Lists - make your own, or use the incredible built-in ones like Bad Wigs Club, Christmas Cage and He Really Needed Money.
  • Cage of the Day - a new film every day to nudge you in the right direction.
  • Spin to Win - can't decide? Spin the wheel. Confetti is involved.
  • What Should I Watch? - a extremely well built quiz (NO AI!!!!) that narrows it down to exactly one film.
  • Pick your icon - unlock new icons so everyone can see how unhinged you are. Just like Nic!
  • Achievements - yes, achievements!
  • Backup & restore - export your data to a zip file and import it on a new phone.

Is it really free?

Yes. Completely free, no ads, no subscriptions, no in-app purchases. It's a fan project made because I wanted it to exist.

What about my data?

Caged is 100% offline. There are no accounts and no sign-ups. Everything you enter stays on your phone, and nothing is ever sent to me or anyone else. I have no interest in your data. If you delete the app, your data goes with it (so use the backup feature if you want to keep it!).
